Colleges of Worcester Consortium 40th anniversary.

The Colleges of Worcester Consortium Inc. celebrated its 40th anniversary by hosting a dinner reception followed by the presentation of the George I. Alden Awards. Recipients were the Worcester Pipeline Collaborative and the Deaf Studies Program at the College of the Holy Cross. U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry was keynote speaker. The Consortium, an alliance of 13 area colleges, works cooperatively to further the missions of the member institutions individually and to advance higher education regionally.
