College to show pedal power.

COLEG Llandrillo Cymru staff and students are gearing up to play an active part in the raising of monies for a popular charity.

The college is supporting the Ty Gobaith Corporate Challenge by hosting several events later this month.

Tomorrow, May 15, college staff and students will be taking part in a 12-hour Pedalathon - an indoor bike ride marathon.

Two days later, on Saturday, there will be a car boot sale from 8am till midday. Both these events will take place at the Rhos-on-Sea Campus.

Last but not least is the Llandrillo's Got Talent night on May 29 at Conwy Golf Club. The night will include a skills auction, buffet and disco.

Appeals manager Sarah Kearsley-Wooller explained: "This is an exciting fundraising challenge and participation was limited to the first 100 organisations to sign up. Each participating company was given pounds 50 and had 90 days to increase it by as much as is legally possible.
