Colebridge on cloud 9 in Premier.

BIRMINGHAM LEAGUE COLEBRIDGE A stormed to a 9-0 whitewash over Bournville B, in their opening fixture in the Premier Division of the Birmingham, Solihull & District Association.

Ed Lynn, Hawley Ellicott and Paul Lenormand showed that the 2018/19 title winners will be in strong contention again.

The Continental A v Tudor Grange fixture was the standout match of the night on paper, but ended as a damp squib, after the Grange duo of Ethan Walsh and Adam Nutland were not registered to play, so the final score was 7-2 to Continental instead of 8-1 to Tudor Grange.

Bournville A had a comfortable 7-2 success over Streetly A.
