Cobra. (Foundries' Starring Roles).

Sylvester Stallone stars as Lt. Marion "Cobra" Cobretti in Cobra, a film that he both wrote and produced. A hard-as-nails renegade cop, Stallone is investigating a series of murders committed by a serial killer known as "The Night Stalker." The movie also stars '80s staple Brigitte Nielsen (who was Mrs. Stallone at the time) as a damsel in distress.

After a great deal of gunfire and plot twists through the movie, Stallone finally tracks the killer to a foundry where they can have their climactic final showdown. Luckily, during the finale, no one is at the foundry, even though it continues to operate (apparently only to provide a creepy atmosphere). The fight ends when Stallone impales the killer on a rusty hook that just happens to be hanging from the ceiling.

Foundry Oddities: Why would a foundry run a night shift with no employees? This was apparently something that Stallone never considered when writing the screenplay.
