Cobham agrees recommended offer for Thrane & Thrane.

Technology company Cobham plc (LSE:COB) confirmed today that it has agreed the terms of a recommended offer for Thrane & Thrane A/S (Copenhagen:THRAN), a Danish manufacturer of equipment and systems for mobile satellite and radio communication.

Cobham has increased its offer price from DKK420 to DKK435 per share and the board of directors of the Danish company will recommend to shareholders that they accept the offer.

Lars Thrane, founder and member of the board of management and board of directors of Thrane & Thrane, has undertaken to accept the increased offer in relation to his holding of 1,349,084 shares, or 22.7% of the company's fully diluted share capital.

In total, Cobham now owns or has received undertakings in respect of a total of 2,819,919 shares, representing 47.4% of the fully diluted share capital of Thrane & Thrane.
