Coast Distributing funds scholarship

Coast Distributing Co., an Anheuser-Busch wholesaler in San Diego, will again support the National Hispanic Scholarship Fund by making a donation for every case of Budweiser, Bud Light and Bud Dry 12-oz. cans sold in October.

The National Hispanic Scholarship Fund (NHSF) is an organization that provides scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students of Hispanic-American background. Candidates are chosen on the basis of academic achievement, personal strengths, leadership, and financial needs.

In 1990, Coast Distributing raised nearly $3,000 for the NHSF. This year, Coast announced it is out to beat that number. According to the distributor, all funds raised will go to students of Hispanic-American background who are born and raised in San Diego.
