Cmed Clinical Services and Cmed Technology to Exhibit Together at 2011 SCDM Annual Conference.

Demonstrations to Highlight Timaeus' On-Demand eClinical Capabilities

HORSHAM, England -- Cmed Group, which combines contract clinical research services with an innovative provider of eClinical technology and solutions, announced today that it will be exhibiting and providing demonstrations at the 2011 SCDM (Society for Clinical Data Management) Annual Conference held at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront in Baltimore, MD, September 11-14. Both Cmed Clinical Services and Cmed Technology will be in Booth 212.

Cmed Clinical Services has distinctive capabilities to deliver clinical projects innovatively, faster and more cost-effectively by enabling its global drug development customers to collect the right data at the right time, in order to make the right decision. Cmed Clinical Services provides a solution to the existing industry challenge of reaching the go/no-go decision efficiently, prior to Phase III, via better planning and enhanced delivery of standard and complex early phase (I to IIb) clinical projects. It has provided not only significant benefits for big pharmaceutical organizations but also helps smaller biotechnology organizations deliver early phase clinical trials better by allowing them to more efficiently gather the data required for potential partnering. Cmed Technology's unified eClinical platform, Timaeus, combines advanced distributed cloud, mobile and tablet computing technologies to provide research organizations the freedom to manage any type of data, for any trial, anywhere. It will demonstrate the on-demand capabilities of its Timaeus 5 eClinical platform and highlight its forthcoming Timaeus Guided Trial Builder, which will enable non-programmers to very rapidly build entire trials, including visit schedules, pages and edit checks. Booth visitors will be able to build, immediately deploy and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) on trials themselves. They will be able to capture data, perform source data verification (SDV) and run real-time reports using Timaeus Web or Timaeus HotSpot, the industry's first portable eClinical suite.
