Cmdr. John Anderson.

Cmdr. John Anderson, SC, USN, completed 26 years of active service and retired Oct. 1, 2012, after serving at Navy Operations Logistics Support Center, Norfolk, Va. He received his bachelor's degree at State University of New York, Albany, N.Y., and his master's degree at U. S. Naval Postgraduate School, Annapolis, Md. His previous duty stations include Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Diego Garcia; Commander, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, Little Creek, Va.; Commander, 1st Naval Construction Division, Little Creek, Va.; Defense Supply Center Richmond, Va.; USS Valley Forge (CG 50); USS Elrod (FFG 55); Fleet Training Center Detachment, Treasure Island, Calif.; U. S. Naval Supply Depot, Subic Bay, Philippines; and USS Saratoga (CV 60).
