Clubs hope fans will take advantage of special day; Non-League preview A look ahead to all the action on tomorrow's Non-League Day.

WITH international football taking centre stage tonight and next midweek and the absence of top flight games this weekend, non-League clubs up and down the country are hoping fans who would normally attend Premier League matches will take a look at what they have to offer.

Of the 16 sides in the ECHO area, half are playing at home tomorrow - Chester FC, Vauxhall Motors, Marine, Skelmersdale United, Prescot Cables, Warrington Town, Runcorn Town and Widnes Vikings FC.

There's an incentive for season ticket holders at Everton and Liverpool as they can gain admission to a number of grounds for a reduced price upon presentation of their pass at the turnstiles.

Marine is one such club providing this offer for their Evo-Stik League Northern Premier Division clash against Buxton at the Arriva Stadium. Entry fee for fans with season tickets will be PS5. Mariners chairman, Paul Leary, said: "National non-League Day provides a great opportunity for football clubs like Marine to attract new fans and this Saturday at home against Buxton we are to continue with the offer of admission for a fiver for Everton and Liverpool season ticket holders.

"This is a great way for local football fans to visit the Arriva Stadium, possibly for the first time and we look for even more Premier or Football League supporters on Merseyside to adopt Marine as their second team.

"We continue to attract younger fans through our free admission policy for children aged 11 and under, and this reduced admission price for the older season ticket holders of Everton, Liverpool and Tranmere provides another good reason for football fans of all ages to watch the mighty Mariners."
