Club welcomes back its most popular band.
The band's singer Andy Cairns admitted he had a soft spot for the club, in Primrose Hill Street, Hillfields, after they played there last March on their 10th anniversary tour.
He told a Channel 4 interviewer that the sell-out show was probably the best gig they had ever played.
They will appear at the Colosseum to promote their latest album Shameless, one of seven UK dates in their tour and the only one in the Midlands.
Colosseum events manager Richard Elms is looking forward to the return of "one of the best bands to have played Coventry in recent years".
A poll found Therapy's last visit was overwhelmingly named as the most memorable and enjoyable concert at that venue.
Mr Elms said: "When we began trying to put the city back on the musical circuit it was in the hope of showcasing high-calibre acts in front of energetic and appreciative audiences.
"In a recent poll of one thousand people from our mailing list, Therapy came out as the band that most people would like to see again.
"The band reciprocally rated the venue and the Coventry audience very highly, which is great when you consider that they have played hundreds of shows."
