Closure of service stations without recycling plant ordered.
LAHORE -- The Lahore administration on Tuesday sought closure of all those vehicle service/washing stations that have no water recycling plant.
The direction was passed to all ACs and the Wasa officers in a meeting presided over by DC Ms Saleha Saeed.
Ms. Saeed also instructed owners of all industrial units to install water recycling plants and reuse the water.
The meeting was told that there were 310 service stations in the city out of which 147 are yet to have recycling plants. 'All ACs must launch a crackdown in this regard by sealing such stations and industrial units,' she added.
