Close-out store opens 8th outlet in Hicksville.
The 35,000-square-foot National Wholesale Liquidators and a 51,000-square-foot Waldbaum's superstore anchor the 112,000-square-foot Bethpage Marketsquare, which was developed by Jericho-based Spiegel Associates. The shopping center fronts Route 107, between Hempstead Turnpike and Old Country Road, directly across from the headquarters of Grumman.
National Wholesale Liquidators is an eight-year-old family owned business. In addition to its newest store at Bethpage Market Square, it operates three other stores in Nassau County, two in Rockland County, and a store in Queens and Manhattan.
In addition to its anchors Waldbaum's and National Wholesale Liquidators, other tenants at Bethpage Marketsquare include Broadway Cards & Gifts, Bagel-Go-Round, Vogue Liquor, Gifted Basket, Francesco's Pizza, Purple Haze Music, Fancy Wok, Kimera Salon and KWIK Cleaners.
Approximately 18,000 square feet of retail space is currently available at Bethpage Marketsquare, and Spiegel Associates plans approximately 30,000 square feet of additional retail space in the future.
