Islamabad -- A vast majority (77%) of Pakistanis think it is possible that close companions and family members were involved in the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, a vast majority (77%) of Pakistanis think it is possible that close companions and family members were involved in the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked 'Some people accuse Benazir Bhutto's close companions and family members for their involvement in her murder, while others call this type of accusation an opponents' propaganda. In your opinion, what is the possibility that her close companions and family members were involved in her murder?' In response, 32% said it is very much possible, 45% said somewhat possible and 13% said not possible. 10% did not know.
