Close circuit cameras for all shopping centers in IBD.

ISLAMABAD -- Decision has been taken to install close circuit cameras in all shopping centers at federal capital to monitor criminal activities and curb the street crimes.

Control rooms will also be built to monitor the incidents of crime, purse snatching and mobile snatching etc. District management has contacted the traders' community to address the snags on the way to installation of cameras.

Sources said in the first phase of this consultation process, deputy commissioner Islamabad has called the traders of super market in his office on Wednesday.

Sources said the installation of cameras will be carried out in super market first of all followed by Jinnah Super Market, F-10 Markaz, I-8 Markaz, Blue area and other centers.
