Cleveland Police looking for new recruits to join the force - including a staff investigator; The force is looking to fill a number of roles and is currently taking applications on their website.

Cleveland Police is looking for new recruits and has release a list of current vacancies.

The force is looking to fill a number of roles and is currently taking applications on their website.

One role that is available is for a police staff investigator which has a salary of between [pounds sterling]28,353 - [pounds sterling]32,907.

The job spec states: "We are seeking conscientious, dedicated and inquiring individuals to ensure a professional investigative and supportive service is delivered to the community.

"Duties will include interviewing witnesses and complainants using the PEACE/PACE interview methods and producing accurate written statements in a form suitable for use as evidence in court proceedings."

The force is also seeking 20 "committed individuals" who can spare a few hours a week to volunteer their services as a police support volunteer.
