Duckworth-Alco Stores Inc. sold off some more of its Little Rock warehouse property at 9500 Forbing Road recently.

Jack and A.D. West of West Tree Service fame bought the parcel for $225,000 and deeded it over to their business partner William R. Jackson. The purchase may herald a relocation of West Tree Service from 1805 S. Woodrow.

Duckworth-Alco, based in Abilene, Kan., sold an adjoining 300,000-SF warehouse for $2 million to Curtis Finch Jr. of Commercial Warehouse in Little Rock. Finch is looking at several different options for his new property.

Duckworth-Alco has other Arkansas property that may be sold off as well.
