Clean Water Council improves website.

The Clean Water Council (CWC) has rolled out its new and improved webpage: The site serves as an effective "one-stop" resource for all things water infrastructure.

The website provides recent CWC correspondence, press releases, a broad range of reports and studies on water infrastructure, pending legislation related to increased investment, and a state-by-state breakdown of America's wastewater and drinking water infrastructure needs. Water News Update, the CWC's daily blog is also available on the site with the option to sign up for free daily delivery.

The CWC's pivotal economic impact study, Sudden Impact: An Assessment of Short-Term Economic Impacts of Water and Wastewater Construction Projects in the United States is also available electronically on the site. The study highlights the eco nomic benefits of investment in water and wastewater on local communities and was widely distributed on Capitol Hill. Many on the Hill see it as an important document, making the economic case for greater federal investment in water and wastewater infrastructure.
