Classic literature from wall to wall.

INSPIRED by the 150 years that have passed since Alice followed the white rabbit down the hole to Wonderland, last year, Murals Wallpaper decided to celebrate by researching and designing new wall art.

And now the range has been released to pay homage to this popular icon of literature. The classic composition has been designed by the in-house team, which has remastered archived images of John Tenniel's original 1865 works.

Bringing Lewis Carroll's iconic story to life, the wallpaper print is ideal as a classic feature wall in a child's bedroom or playroom.

But why should just the kids have the beautiful designs in their rooms? The eye-catching designs would also look sophisticated in a study, office or library.

The Alice in Wonderland prints are part of the company's Classic Literature Collection, which also includes Wizard of Oz and Charles Dickens characters.

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz has been designed in a similar fashion as Alice, with the company's in-house team digging through hundreds of archives before eventually finding scans of the Denslowillustrated version from 1900. Classic drawings of Dorothy, h Scarecrow, Tin Woodman (better known as the Tin Man) and the Cowardly Lion bring the well-loved story to life in traditional muted tones.

And if you're missing the BBC TV series Dickensian, or you have a favourite Dickens character, then you may find them on a the new wallpaper design featuring Oliver Twist, The Pickwick Papers and The Old Curiosity Shop.

All of these special prints are custom-sized, made to order and priced at PS23.50 per square metre from muralswallpaper.co.uk
