by Ernest Hernandez

The past days saw the arrival of Jordan Clarkson in Indonesia for the 2018 Asian Games make headlines. Aside from playing in the national team, Clarkson will also be the Philippines flag-bearer in the opening ceremonies - an event that his parents wouldn't miss for the world.

Mike and Janie, the parents of Jordan Clarkson, arrived at around 10:00 a.m. in Indonesia and received a warm welcome. They were welcomed by Theia Sports Chief Strategy Officer Ronald Rodriguez and his team.

The proud parents are excited to witness Jordan carry the flag and it is something that their family will be most proud of.

"The distinguished honor of being the flag bearer of the Philippines contingent is truly a blessing and something that our family will always remember," a proud father Mike Clarkson said in a prior interview with Manila Bulletin.
