Clarke just two hot for minnows; FA CUP 2ND ROUND.

NORTHWICH 1 LINCOLN CITY 3 JAMIE CLARKE scored two goals as Lincoln crushed Northwich's FA Cup hopes.

Plucky Northwich went behind to Chris Fagan's volley before Matt Bailey equalised after the break.

Clarke then added a second before putting the result beyond doubt with a neat finish in the 64th minute.

Imps' boss Chris Sutton said: "They didn't beat Charlton by a fluke and we're not arrogant enough just to think we can turn up and roll them over.

"We were on a hiding to nothing, we'd had a bad week with injuries and suspensions but the boys who came in did well."
