Clarke: I like Luk of hitkid.

West Brom ..........2 Norwich ...............1 Baggies boss Steve Clarke hailed on-loan hitkid Romelu Lukaku after his late strike dumped the Canaries.

The Chelsea frontman rose above Javier Garrido to head home Goran Popov's cross and send West Brom back into the top six.

Zoltan Gera's close-range volley had earlier cancelled out Robert Snodgrass's opener for Norwich.

Clarke said: "Romelu has done well - he is a big talent who has a big future ahead of him in the game."

The Scot admitted Albion were below their best as they claimed their first victory in five matches.

He said: "The players are not quite flowing as they were early in the season.

"When you are coming in after four games without a win there comes a bit more pressure - it was a big game for us and it was important we got the three points."

Norwich gaffer Chris Hughton saw his team's 10-match unbeaten league run come to an end.

He said: "We deserved to come away with something."
