Clark's hot air balloon invades Lubao.

City of San Fernando, Pampanga - The anticipated Philippine Hot Air Balloon Festival will be moved from Clark in Angeles City to the former President and now Pampanga Representative Gloria Arroyo's hometown of Lubao, the provincial government said.

According to Provincial Tourism Officer Arwin Lingat, the Hot Air Balloon Festival, slated from April 10 to 13, will be held for the first time outside Clark in Barangay Prado Siongco, Lubao, Pampanga.

The transfer is due to the Clark Freeport's busier air traffic because of the number of flights at the Clark International Airport.

A hot air balloon event should be staged at a 25-kilometer no fly zone, and Lubao would be the best place for the event because of its location, Lingat said.
