Claremont Group & Shvo unveil 8 Union Square South.

Michael Shvo and the Claremont Group have announced the launch of 8 Union Square South, the first newly constructed, full-service boutique luxury condominium in Union Square from SHVO.

The exclusive property, located directly opposite the Union Square Park, is at the hub of Manhattan's most acclaimed restaurants, shopping, art world and nightlife offering the perfect mix of downtown energy and uptown chic.

A striking concrete and glass building, with direct views of the park, 8 Union Square South, was designed by internationally-renowned architecture firm Arpad Baska Architects. The fully-appointed living spaces will be created by acclaimed interior designer Eric Cohler, who will offer each buyer a consultation for their residence, gratis.

"8 Union Square South is about an elegance and energy so unique to its location that each resident is also buying a piece of New York's most important public square." states Michael Shvo, President of SHVO.

Loft-inspired interiors will marry detail with craft incorporating materials that have an underlying warmth and texture, including spice-colored woods, woven leathers, wool and steel.

With only two residences per floor, the apartments will boast Juliet balconies, 10-foot ceilings and vast windows. Each unit will be pre-wired with Bang & Olufsen systems. In addition, the duplex penthouses will have elevator doors opening directly into the condominiums, 11-foot ceilings, terraces and custom-designed wine storage.

"8 Union Square South continues Claremont's long tradition of developing Manhattan's finest addresses into luxury condominium residences defined by timeless design, attention to detail, and first-class finishes," states Stephan Lari, Claremont senior management.

Building amenities will include a state-of-the-art gym, 24-hour doorman service and on-site access to Quintessentially, the world-renowned private concierge service which will provide residents with everything from last-minute private jet reservations, to personal shoppers to front-row tickets for events.

The building will contain 20 units in total, including 1 one-bedrooms, 11 two-bedrooms, 6 three bedrooms, 2 duplex penthouses.
