Claranet acquires German operations of Netscalibur.

INTERNET BUSINESS NEWS-(C)1995-2002 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

UK-based ISP Claranet has acquired the German subsidiary of Netscalibur, an Internet infrastructure company.

Claranet has stated that the transaction will provide the company with operations in Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt while also complementing its existing infrastructure.

Netscalibur has said that the company is exiting the German market in order to focus on its operations in the UK and Italy.

The financial terms of the acquisition were not announced.
