City tunes in early for giant BBC screen.
THE BBC Big Screen in Clayton Square is almost ready for action.The official launch date is over a month away, but BBC manager Bren O'Callaghan is confident that the screen will be up and running well before then.
At 10 metres tall and with a screen of 26 square metres, Liverpool's Big Screen is bigger than those already operating in Manchester and Birmingham.
The BBC is planning seven more giant screens across the UK over the next three years.
