City lifeguard admits sexual assaults.
Yassine Falah, 38, was due to stand trial at Liverpool Crown Court yesterday accused of two counts of sexual assault by pressing his groin against the females while working at a Lifestyles centre in Everton.
But at the 11th hour Falah changed his plea and admitted attacking both the 14-year-old girl and the 30-year-old woman, who has learning difficulties.
Falah, of Chatham Street, off Myrtle Street, in the city centre, had previously admitted molesting both females last year, but then later denied the offences to a probation officer, leading to his pleas being withdrawn and the case being listed for trial.
But yesterday Tom Watson, defending Falah, assured the court he would now stand by his guilty pleas.
Falah pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting the 14-year-old girl on April 5, 2009 and the woman, on August 5, 2009.
Judge Bryn Holloway adjourned sentencing for reports but ordered Falah to sign the interim Sex Offenders' Register.
