City juniors take on Brummies; CYCLE SPEEDWAY.

COVENTRY Devlins Newsagents Cycle Speedway junior team are looking for their first Midland League win of the season against Birmingham at Hearsall Common tonight (7.15pm).

The city youngsters raced to a 66-64 challenge match win over the Brummies just three weeks ago - and team boss Andy Drewett is confident his fast improving juniors are set for a repeat performance. Coventry team (from): Calum McCarroll, Sam Slatter, Josh Marsh, Ollie Morris, Spencer Sawbridge, Jake Slatter, Sammi Marsh, Adam Dickinson and Shaun Reynolds.

The Coventry v Swindon match at Hearsall Common last Sunday was called-off at the request of the visitors and is now due to take place on Sunday, May 26, at 2pm. | Bretford Bulldogs stage round three of the British Junior and Youth League Grand Prix series on Saturday at Brandon Road (1pm).
