Digital cinema, software and content marketing and distribution company, Cinedigm (NASDAQ:CIDM) signed an agreement with Palace Cinemas, which will use the company's new, web-based, operational and oversight software, ENTERPRISE WEB in all of its existing and upcoming theatres, the company disclosed on Wednesday.

ENTERPRISE WEB expands the functionality of the Cinedigm's "Theatre Control Center" (TCC3) theatre management system for operational insight and control centralisation for every theatre in the circuit.

Palace Cinemas is Australia's independent entertainment group comprising 85 screens in 20 locations, the majority of which include fully licensed bar/cafe facilities.

Further, the software that launched in the US in August 2013 enables exhibitors to oversee their operations from anywhere in the world from any handheld or desktop device, including circuit-wide efficiency monitoring, programming the preshow, creating rules and adding to show playlists and transferring files to the proper players during off-peak time periods.
