Cincinnati festival gets Coors Light.

Cincinnati's oldest and longest-running food festival has been renamed the "Coors Light Taste of Cincinnati" after the brand was deemed title sponsor of the event along with its local distributor, Ultimate Distributing Co.

"We're pleased to welcome Coors Light into the growing tradition of Taste of Cincinnati," said downtown council president Thomas Caravan when announcing the sponsorship. "We hope for a mutually beneficial sponsorship and numerous years of teamwork promoting downtown, Cincinnati restaurants and Coors Light."

Terry Smith, area manager of Coors Brewing Co., said the event provides a vehicle to promote the brand to 450,000 people during the Memorial Day weekend.
