Cilla joins stars to launch UK's pantomime season.

THE baddies dripped menace on cue and the principal boys showed a wellturned leg as a host of stars lined up to launch the panto season.

Cilla Black joined other international celebs, such as American actors Henry Winkler, of Happy Days fame, and Paul Michael Glaser, of Starsky and Hutch, to launch 12 panto productions across the country.

Dressed in full costume, the stars made an appearance at a shopping centre in north London.

Ms Black, who plays the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella at the Liverpool Empire, said: "I am looking forward to being a fairy godmother," before urging assembled school children on in chants of "Izzy wizzy, let's get busy."
