Churchill funeral man among school's past; RUBERY.

MEMORIES are pouring into a Rubery school celebrating its 75th anniversary next year.

Interviews with past pupils and staff of Waseley Hills High School start after half-term, but people can still contact the school to reminisce.

Festivities are set to begin in March 2007 and run for the rest of the academic year.

Coordinator Tessa Bidgood added: "We have also been told that one of our ex-pupils was a pallbearer at Churchill's funeral in 1965."

The school can be called on 0121 453 5211.
