Church shopping.

Two years ago Little Rock's Sixth & Izard Church of Christ bought land for a relocation to North Little Rock.

The church paid $1 million for a 7.4 acre site near the northwest corner of Interstate 430 and Windsong Drive.

The seller was Witkowski Family Ltd., led by Ruth Witkowski.

Now the backside of that deal has closed and spawned a related transaction.

Sixth & Izard Church of Christ sold its downtown property for $2.3 million to Barrow Road Church of Christ.

In turn, Barrow Road Church of Christ sold its facility at 900 Barrow Road for $2 million to Baptist Health.

Baptist intends to use the church property as-is for meeting space and such for the time being. The five-acre development adjoins Baptist-owned property on two sides.
