Chubby comes home to sign in.

Millionaire comedian Roy "Chubby" Brown is back home tomorrow to meet his Teesside fans.

The Grangetown lad with the bluest jokes and foulest mouth in showbiz, will be signing copies of his autobiography which spills the beans on his colourful life.

Chubby Brown ( real name Royston Vasey as in the hit comedy he inspired, League of Gentleman ( has come a long way since being abandoned by his mam and two years in Borstal.

The quietly spoken comedian has also battled back from throat cancer. Roy now has only one vocal chord and limits shows to three a week to protect his voice.

Chubby's book, Common As Muck! is published by Time Warner at pounds 16.99.

He will be signing copies at Waterstone's in Captain Cook Square, Middlesbrough, on Friday between 1-2.30pm.
