Christopher Reeve is 52 today.

Christopher Reeve 52: American actor, famous for playing Superman.Reeve was born in New York City. When he was four he moved with his family to Princetown, New Jersey, where he attended an exclusive private school.

At nine he was picked to be in Gilbert & Sullivan productionYeoman of the Guard at the McArthur Theatre. At 15 he took a summer apprenticeship at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts.

In 1976 he successfully auditioned for the 1978 movie, Superman. While shooting the movie he met Gae Exton, a modelling executive. They had two children, Matthew and Alexandra. They parted in 1987.

He met and married Dana Morosini in 1992 and they have one son.
