Christmas stars of Shameless; Actors' TV roles.
But learning disabled actors from Huddersfield have been drinking, swearing and behaving badly.
It's all an act of course - the group have roles in Channel 4's award-winning series comedy Shameless, set on a Manchester housing estate.
The actors, from Huddersfield-based theatre company Full Body & The Voice (FB&TV), can be seen on TV next month.
The cast, who all hail from Yorkshire, include Almondbury's Joanne Kempley, 20 and Honley's Emma Langford, 27.
The story sees Mickey Maguire (played by Ciaran Griffiths) given community service which involves staging a nativity play with a group of learning disabled students.
The Huddersfield group filmed at the show's Manchester studios in April.
Their characters will be shown drinking and swearing and behaving badly - just like the other characters in the series.
The episode was written following series producer Lawrence Till's previous work with Vanessa Brooks, the artistic director at FB&TV.
Mr Till said: "I commissioned Vanessa Brooks to write a play called Queen's English for me when I was Artistic Director of the Watford Palace Theatre.
"When we were discussing storylines for Shameless, I knew that I wanted to collaborate with Vanessa and the company. "I had seen Full Body & The Voice and was impressed by their work in Huddersfield.
"I hope that the resulting episode shows the skill, enthusiasm and commitment of this talented group of actors and that Shameless can play its part in both the future of the company as well as producing ground-breaking work for twenty-first century audiences."
FB&TV is a leading trainer of actors with learning disabilities and is resident in the Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield.
Also starring alongside Huddersfield actors Emma and Joanne are FB&TV actors Toby Meredith, James Munton, Lauren Pearcey and Joe Sproulle.
The show will air on Channel 4 on Tuesday, October 18, at 10pm, with a first screening on E4 on Tuesday, October 11, at 11pm.
