Christmas exhibition: Biblical themes of Marc Chagall and Salvador Dali
In the spirit of Christmas, the Museum Gallery of Modern Art celebrates its first birthday with the biblical stories of the French modernist Chagall and Spanish surrealist Dali.
Chagall's biblical illustrations--which he started working on in 1930 during a trip to Palestine and completed in the 1960s--need no introduction. The exhibition features lithographs from the series published in 1960 in Paris. The Dali side of the exhibition features lithographs from the Biblia Sacra series.
Prints will be available for purchase and every day until December 24, a Chagall print will be offered at a 20 per cent discount.
