Christian community celebrates Christmas.

FAISALABAD -- Christian community celebrated Christmas with traditional fervour and religious zeal here on Wednesday. Special services started last night in well-decorated and profusely illuminated churches of the city. Addressing a special service in FGA Church Nawabanwala here on Wednesday, Priest Peter Riaz underlined the importance of love and peace for this world.

He asked the Christians to share the blessings of Christmas with poor segments of society by providing them maximum moral, religious and financial support.

He also urged upon them to play their role for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan. Similar functions were also held in other churches of the city where children and women wearing colourful dresses also attended special services.
