Choir's annual concert will have something for everyone.
A STUNNING musical evening is promised by Rhos Male Voice Choir at their annual concert in Wrexham tomorrow.
Also taking to the stage at the William Aston Hall will be soloists Luis Gomes and North Wales' own Meinir Wyn Roberts.
Acting Musical director Kevin Whitley said: "This will be the choir's first major concert since the amazing performance that brought success in the Llangollen International Eisteddfod in July. We have put together the broadest possible programme that is bound to have something for everyone."
Included in the programme will be a special tribute by the choir to former musical director John Tudor Davies who died earlier this year.
Mr Whitley added: "Many of John Tudor Davies' arrangements are now sung by male voice choirs across the world.
"In particular his arrangement of the popular Welsh hymn Gwahoddiad is in the repertoire of virtually every Welsh male voice choir, and it will be an emotional moment when the choir sings it on Saturday as part of our tribute to his life and work."
Tickets details can be found on the choir website rmvc.co. uk, by e-mail to email@example.com or from the William Aston Hall box office on 01978 292015. They cost PS20, or PS10 for under 16s.
