China to continue encouraging companies to invest in Macedonia.
The Chinese Government isn't going to change its politics to Macedonia. The traditional friendship between the two countries has solid foundations and I am convinced that whatever the party that comes to power it won't change that friendly policy to China, said the high representative of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lu Shan at a meeting in Beijing with reporters from the Central and Eastern European countries within the 16 + 1 process.
Talking to reporters, he said that the two countries had joint projects that they had been continuously working on in recent years.
"We will continue to encourage our companies to explore the possibilities for investment in Macedonia. This policy isn't exclusive to Macedonia but is for all the countries of Central and Eastern Europe," Mr. Shan said, informing in journalists from Central and Eastern Europe about the activities taken within the 16 + 1 process.
Macedonia is among the first countries that joined this initiative and is using funds to build the Miladinovci-Stip and Kicevo-Ohrid highways.
