China helps to improve healthcare In Gwadar.
ISLAMABAD -- Chinese city of Karamay close to Pakistan border in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region donated goods to improve medical and educational facilities in Gwadar. Chen Xinfa, Karamay's Party chief presented an ambulance key to Babu Gulab, the chairman of the Gwadar District Council.
The donations also included 300 school uniforms, and 12 years of free education, from primary school to high school, for 200 local students, in an effort to improve the medical and educational welfare in Gwadar. Chen also invited Pakistani officials to attend the "Belt and Road" Karamay Forum held in August. Gulab expressed his gratitude to Karamay for its contribution to Gwadar's economic development and social welfare. Xinjiang region sent a delegation headed by Zhang Chunxian, Party chief of the autonomous region, to Pakistan to study local economic and social development and seek cooperation opportunities.
