China Eastern to acquire 30 Airbus A320s.
China Eastern Airlines Corp has agreed to buy 30 Airbus A320 aircraft.
The carrier said that it will acquire the aircraft to help meet growing demand in China's air travel market. No details were disclosed on the price of the purchase, but the airline did say that it will pay less than the list price of USD1.7bn.
The aircraft are scheduled for delivery between May 2008 and November 2010, The Associated Press reported.
