China : Huawei BYOD Alliance Welcomes Partners for a Better Mobile Ecosystem.

Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today reviewed the business progress of its BYOD Alliance at the Huawei Developers Congress (HDC) 2015 held in Shenzhen, China. Huawei also elaborated the new open capabilities of its BYOD platform, and looked ahead at how Huawei s sales platform would help partners explore the market outside China and continue building a promising BYOD ecosystem.

Established in 2013, Huawei BYOD Alliance has been concentrating on a BYOD security platform. This platform and products, solutions, and critical technologies from Huawei s partners complement each other in advantages. Members of the alliance are able to quickly release their applications on Huawei s BYOD enterprise app store by integrating Huawei s mobile security capabilities. All the members can benefit from Huawei s global sales system that covers more than 170 countries and regions and more than 5,000 channels worldwide.

The mobile Internet is now changing the whole world. In today s age that is characterized by openness, resource sharing, and win-win development, cooperative engagement capability plays a critical role in the sustainable development of industries, said Liu Lizhu, General Manager, Security Gateway Domain, Switch & Enterprise Communications Product Line, Huawei. Since Huawei BYOD Alliance was established three years ago, more than 200 global partners have joined the alliance. Huawei s BYOD platform has integrated over 500 applications. More than 100 key account projects are being operated. What s more, the alliance has been serving more than one million high-end enterprise mobile users. Huawei s BYOD partners come from a wide range of sectors, such as the finance, government, large enterprise, transportation, education, energy, smart grid, public security, media and entertainment, and the Internet.
