China,South Africa : CHINA to develop 100 Hospitals, Clinics in AFRICA.

The Chinese government has declared that it will construct 100 hospitals and clinics all over the African continent as scheduled part of a scheme to enhance health framework and be ready for further spreading of disease.

The declaration was made when Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi and Chinese Health Minister Lin Bin after a 3 day conference of the 2nd Ministerial Forum of China-Africa Health Development, that terminated soon.

Minister Motsoaledi said the forum, that is a collaboration between the Chinese government and many African nations, was a huge boost to the African continent and might assist fortify the continent's public health framework after the Ebola era.

He said, "Learning from the EVD Ebola Virus Disease crisis, Chinese and African leaders in the health sectors fully support a new, well-funded, and functional international response system to manage future pandemics."

The China-Africa Forum, that is hosted by the Chinese government, is advised by African nation's programmes of action, the World Health Organisation action plans, the African Union (AU) Agenda 2063 and the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals.

The forum's prime goal, the Minister said, was on saving lives and enhancing the well being of people in an improving continent where millions of people are anticipating cure.

The forum devoted to making collaboration that might guarantee access to high quality health care frameworks, medicines and vaccines, and also medical devices, diagnostics and regulation of drugs.

This might assist governments deal with non-communicable diseases, preventable communicable and emerging diseases like HIV and Aids, Ebola, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Minister Lin Bin said in the coming 3 years, the Chinese government and many African nations formulated and undertook a system of execution.

"China is committed to establish 100 health facilities, including hospitals and clinics in developing countries."

"China is willing to provide assistance and support in the establishment of the disease control and prevention systems at regional and country level to reinforce the surveillance, monitoring and response capacity of African countries to public health emergencies ..."

She said, "The Chinese government will continue to send China Medical Teams working in African countries, and recruit 1500 medical personnel in the next three years."

She also said that new steps will be taken to conduct short-term medical groups consisting of clinical experts to 40 African nations.

"To improve access to medical products in Africa, both sides recognize that the availability of basic pharmaceutical products and medical equipment is essential to medical service accessibility."

She said, "The Chinese government will encourage 10 large Chinese pharmaceutical and medical equipment enterprises to cooperate with African counterparts, through measures such as technology transfer, in the production, maintenance and distribution of quality pharmaceutical products and medical equipment to African countries."
