China's inflation dips to five-year low.
Beijing, Safar 18, 1436, Dec 10, 2014, SPA -- China's consumer inflation was 1.4 per cent year on
year in November, the lowest since 2009, dpa cited the National Bureau of
Statistics as saying Wednesday.
Producer prices, which measure wholesale inflation, fell 2.7 per cent
from a year earlier, the 33rd consecutive month of decline.
The low inflation rate is the latest in a string of data indicating a
downturn in the Chinese economy.
Business sentiment among Chinese purchasing managers dropped to a
six-month low in November, according to survey findings released
December 1.
