Chin can call the tune at Pontefract.

CHINOISERIES can make the step up to Listed level with the minimum of fuss in the totepool Silver Tankard Stakes at Pontefract.

David Simcock's charge certainly boasts a pedigree for this kind of level as she is a full-sister to the Group One winner Madame Chiang and has already shown that, like her sibling, she can excel with some cut in the ground.

Pitched in over a mile on her racecourse bow at Chepstow in August, Chinoiseries overcame some obvious signs of greenness to run out a length winner with a bit in hand.

Nearly Caught perhaps launched his run a little earlier than ideal and just could not muster any extra in the finish, but this is nowhere near as competitive and the conditions of the race certainly favour him.

Ataman is clearly not one of Roger Charlton's star inmates but he should be good enough in the Bet toteexacta Maiden Stakes.

With a run of three places to his name, the Sholokhov colt has perhaps not progressed quite as much as connections hoped but with a sales entry at the end of the month, connections will be eager to get a win on his record.

Deodoro impressed when landing a Beverley maiden and can follow up in the Download The Unibet Racing App Nursery Handicap at Windsor.

Mark Johnston has wasted no time in switching to handicap company with this daughter of Medaglia d'Oro after she made it second time lucky on the Westwood.

She had looked a bit green on her first attempt but smartly away at the second time of asking, she dictated matters from the front and eventually came home two and a half lengths clear.

An initial mark of 79 does not look too harsh and she looks one to follow in this sphere.

Snappy Guest scored over course and distance back in July can overcome a lengthy absence to win again in the Daily Unibet Early Prices From 9am Handicap.

Plumpton stages the jumps action and Gone Too Far is the choice in the Gerald Karn-Smith Memorial Novices' Limited Handicap Chase for Alan King off top weight.
