A new children's book features a story by author Clive Batkin which is based on a real-life five-year-old girl, Ella Godfrey.

Batkin is a friend of the girl's family and was inspired to write the new story when Ella asked her father to build a treehouse. In the story, the little girl asks for a playhouse but when it is completed she has lost her initial interest and is asleep.

The story, Ella's Playhouse, is part of a collection of stories in a new book called 'Five Minute Tales for Four Year Olds', published and sold by UK retailer Marks & Spencer.
