Children's fun night at the panto.

A children's charity in Huddersfield has raised money and had fun from watching a pantomime at Linthwaite Methodist Church.

The Association for All Speech Impaired Children (AFASIC) attended the dress rehearsal of Dick Whittington.

Linthwaite Methodist Players give away tickets for their dress rehearsal each year to charity. The charity can then sell the tickets for the event and raise cash.

AFASIC, one of the groups to benefit from the Examiner Charity Challenge, also organised a raffle in which the children won prizes. A total of pounds 75 was raised.

Spokeswomen Jane Jones said: "It was a fabulous night, the performance was of an excellent standard and the kids had great fun."
