Chevy 500: Race ace survived this.

DRIVER Kenny Brack was hurtled into the air as his car disintegrated after crashing in the Chevy 500 race in Texas on Sunday.

Brack broke his lower back, sternum, right thigh bone and both ankles when his car was hit from behind and was destroyed on impact with a concrete wall on the back stretch of the track.

He was airlifted to hospital after being rescued from what was left of his car.

Brack's condition is said to be serious but stable.
