Chevrolet, a subsidiary of General Motors Company (NYSE: GM), is planning to sell its mini SUV, called Trax, in China.

The automaker has started production of the vehicle. The model is to be unveiled at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show in April. It will be produced under the Shanghai-GM joint venture in China. The China-made model will be named 'TRAX chuangku' and will be priced at around JPY130,000.

The model is likely to be available with a choice of 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine, and a naturally aspirated 1.6-litre unit positioned below the turbo petrol engine.
