Chevrolet, a subsidiary of General Motors Corporation (NYSE: GM), has announced the price of its 2009 Aveo for the United States market.

The Aveo5 is priced from USD12,120, which is USD1,125 more than the older version. It features four air bags and standard OnStar.

The up-level 1LT and range-topping 2LT model will be priced from USD14,255 and USD15,520 respectively.
